Derrick Rose has yet to see the floor for the Chicago Bulls for their previous seven preseason games after orbital bone surgery on Sept. 30. On Friday night however, that will change.
After Friday’s shootaround in Nebraska, Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said that Derrick Rose will come off the bench and play against the Dallas Mavericks in their preseason finale.
Hoiberg said Rose will play 2 or 3 4-5 minute stretches off bench at first and start 2nd half.

Hoiberg said if Rose reacts favorably to game action, he would be cleared to play in season opener.
