Report: Bulls hire former Rockets assistant Roy Rogers as assistant coach

Part of the reason the Bulls gave Jim Boylen a reported three-year extension this offseason was to attract assistant coaches to improve the staff.

They added another upgrade on Monday by reportedly agreeing to a three-year deal with former Rockets assistant Roy Rogers.

Former Rockets assistant Roy Rogers has agreed to a three-year deal to join the Chicago Bulls an assistant coach, league source tells ESPN.

Rogers had spent three seasons with the Houston Rockets, with head coach Mike D'Antoni adding him to the staff in 2016.
