Live sports are back! Kinda.
Friday afternoon, Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports reported that the Big3 is partnering with Endemol — the production company behind “Big Brother” — to put on a quarantined, reality-show-style, 16-player basketball tournament to fill the entertainment void vacated by live sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Per Haynes, the show could debut in the first week of May under the name: “Big Brother: Big3.”
Last week, reports surfaced (via Haynes) that the Big3 was planning a quarantined three-on-three basketball tournament for some time in April. “Big Brother: Big3” appears to be the fruit of those discussions.
