The Chicago Bulls have been looking for help in the backcourt after learning that backup point guard Aaron Brooks will likely sign with the Indiana Pacers, and the Bulls completed that task Wednesday by signing Philadelphia 76ers free-agent Isaiah Canaan to a reported two-year, $2.2 million contract.
Canaan is excited by the chance to play for the Bulls.
“I’m just looking forward to another great opportunity,” Canaan told The Philadelphia Inquirer on Wednesday. “They got good veterans on the team with D-Wade [Dwyane Wade], [Rajon] Rondo and Jimmy Butler.
