Draymond Green could have gone to any team during the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft, but they all decided to pass. The Chicago Bulls could have picked him with the 29th pick, but instead they drafted University of Kentucky guard Marquis Teague. Whoops.
Former Bulls assistant coach Ron Adams and recently fired head coach Tom Thibodeau both wanted Green; however, they were unable to convince management that the Michigan State Spartan was the right fit. That might have been just another reason why Thibs and Adams were never a great match with Bulls management.
