NEW YORK – The NBA and the league’s Players Association are making sure that the 2020 NBA All-Star Game in Chicago will continue paying tribute to Kobe Bryant.
The former Lakers legend, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash last weekend, and along with Nike, the All-Star Game will feature Team LeBron [James] wearing the No. 2 honoring Gianna, while Team Giannis [Antetokounmpo] will wear Bryant’s No. 24.
“I think it’s great,’’ Bulls coach Jim Boylen said on Friday. “I think we’re all still hurting with the death of Kobe Bryant.
