Kirk Hinrich Excercises Option To Come Back To Bulls

RealGM reports that Kirk Hinrich has exercised his $2.8 million option to return to the Chicago Bulls next year. This doesn’t come as a surprise as Hinrich was unlikely to find another team to pay him that much if he became a free agent. Hinrich played in 66 games for the Bulls last year, starting 22, and averaged a mediocre 5.7 PPG, 2.2 APG and 1.8 RPG on 37.3% shooting. Hinrich’s career is quickly coming to the end as the 12-year veteran has lost a step on defense and his offense has gotten worse by the year.
