John Salley doesn’t think the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors could beat the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls

In his NBA career, John Salley was more known as part of the those Detroit Pistons teams of the late 1980s that kept Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls from reach the NBA Finals.

But, during the Bulls’ record-setting 1995-96 season where they went 72-10 and won the NBA title, Salley was on the Bulls’ bench as a back-of-the-rotation player later in his career.

So, when TMZ asked about whether or not the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors, who came into Friday night just one win away from the first 16-0 postseason run in NBA history, could be those 1995-96 Bulls in a matchup, Salley defended his team.
