Jimmy Butler got mad, and then he got hot, very hot. After taking an elbow to the face in the first half that required a stich during halftime, Butler came out on fire and scored 40 points in the second half. That was good enough to not only break Michael Jordan's Chicago Bullsrecord for points in a half, but also to defeat the Toronto Raptors, 115-113.
The accomplishment didn't quite break the Internet, but social media certainly reacted to it.
Jimmy Butler: Two points in the 1st half and FORTY in the 2nd half.
