One of the major themes of the first two episodes of “The Last Dance” was Jerry Krause’s dysfunctional relationships with Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen.
This shouldn’t be a major surprise considering the title of the documentary series comes from Jackson saying the 1997-98 season would be the Bulls’ last run together. That came from something Krause, the team's general manager, said about that season being Jackson’s last with the Bulls.
Considering Krause died in 2017, he can’t defend himself in “The Last Dance.” He is quickly becoming the villain of the story, fair or not.
