It Is Time For Chicago Bulls Coach Fred Hoiberg To Give Bobby Portis A Chance

Bobby Portis has played in only three games for 22 minutes total all season, and that is simply not acceptable anymore after the Chicago Bulls have displayed a lack of consistency and intensity throughout roughly the season’s first quarter. It has even gotten to the point that the rookie is asking to be sent to the D-League. This isn’t the type of feeling you want your rookie first-round pick to have so early in the year, but you have to love that the young man wants to work on his game.

“People hear D-League and think, ‘Oh, man, he’s in the D-League,'” Portis said to the Chicago Tribune.
