The Bulls got the player they wanted in Denzel Valentine with the 14th pick, and opted for German small forward Paul Zipser in the second round of Thursday's NBA Draft. They also hung on to Jimmy Butler despite numerous reports that they were in talks with the Celtics and Timberwolves regarding deals for the 26-year-old All-Star.
