Up 3-1 in the NBA Finals, things were looking bright for the Golden State Warriors.
After all, no team in the finals had ever come back from a 3-1 deficit and the Warriors were a team that had a record-breaking season.
Yet somehow, through grit and sheer willpower, LeBron James and the Cavaliers won three straight games to clinch Cleveland’s first major sports title in over 50 years.
The Warriors’ collapse has, without a doubt, taken away any chance the team had of being considered the greatest ever.
In fact, even if the Warriors won the series, they still would have had a worse overall record (regular season and playoffs) than the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.
