A crazy day around the world of basketball finished off with the NBA putting their season on a hiatus and college hoops taking extreme precautions as well. An NBA announcement went into further detail on the suspension of the season, at least until there’s a plan in place. But this is starting to effect the basketball world at levels other than the NBA, including former Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg.
The NBA season was put on hiatus since the Utah Jazz-Oklahoma City Thunder game was postponed after Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert showed symptoms early on.
