Chicago Bulls fans should have a special interest in the game between Finland and Slovenia during EuroBasket 2017 on Saturday afternoon.
No. 7 overall pick Lauri Markkanen (Finland) will be sharing the floor with 2018 draft prospect Luka Doncic (Slovenia) in the second game of the tournament for both teams.
Markkanen, who was drafted by the Bulls back in June after the trade that sent Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves, put on quite a show in his official EuroBasket debut on Thursday in Finland’s upset victory over France, who came into the tournament as FIBA’s fourth-ranked team.
