For the second time in less than two weeks, Dwyane Wade may not play against the Lakers. Wade had his first planned rest in the Bulls’ Nov. 20 win at Staples Center, and he could sit out for the rematch Wednesday night at the United Center after undergoing a dental procedure.
Wade was not at the Bulls’ morning shootaround at the Advocate Center, after having a tooth extracted because of a fractured root. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said that Wade will be evaluated before the game and make a decision on whether or not he will play. The fracture and tooth removal procedure took place on Tuesday, according to Hoiberg.
