Dwyane Wade has until June 27 to decide whether or not he wants to accept a $23.8 million player option to stay with his hometown Chicago Bulls for at least one more season in 2017-18.
Wade, who will turn 36 years old in January 2018, met with the Bulls front office for his official exit meeting this past Saturday, according to sources of Chicago Tribune Bulls beat reporter K.C. Johnson.
Like his fellow Marquette backcourt mate Jimmy Butler, Wade only met briefly with the Bulls shortly after their six-game series loss to the Boston Celtics in late April.
