As the draft lottery makes news around the NBA world, the Bulls' most recent first-round pick is recovering from ankle surgery.
Denzel Valentine — selected 14th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft — had arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle recently, according to multiple reports.
Valentine had issues with that left ankle throughout his rookie season and posted a photo of him in a walking boot on his Instagram Tuesday:
The 23-year-old Michigan State product played 57 games in his first year with the Bulls, averaging 5.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.
