Chicago signs Luol Deng who intends to retire a Bull

Two-time NBA All-Star Luol Deng was signed by the Chicago Bulls today with the intent of retiring with the franchise.

The Bulls will honor the veteran forward at a game later this season that hasn't been determined yet.

"From the moment we made Luol Deng the seventh overall pick of the 2004 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls became a better team," Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations John Paxson said in a statement. "Luol carried himself with first-class professionalism and leadership, helping lead his Bulls team to eight playoff appearances during his time in Chicago.
