Credit goes to Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine, the Pippen Ain’t Easy pick for Player of the Game, for staying active during the game to give the Bulls a necessary boost in the closing minutes of regulation.
Early on, LaVine deferred to Kris Dunn giving him the opportunity to initiate the offense.
The Bulls made it a priority to get rookie Wendell Carter Jr. more involved. Carter would lead the Bulls in scoring with 11 points to close the first quarter.
LaVine proved to be too much for the Wizards to handle heading into the second half.
