Thanks to their creative work with their Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat accounts, the Chicago Bulls social media team won the Sports Business Journal’s “Best in Sports Social Media” award on Wednesday night.
Since 2008, the Sports Business Journal has been handing out awards to franchises and corporations across all sports. (The Chicago Cubs also won the “Sports Team of the Year” award on Wednesday night.)
The award won by the Bulls, which had other nominees such as the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, NBC Sports Group, Major League Soccer (MLS) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), was thanks to some innovative, yet entertaining ideas from this past year.
