Just going a few years back, the Chicago Bulls looked to have one of the up-and-coming young cores in the Eastern Conference. Budding young talents such as center Wendell Carter Jr., power forward Lauri Markkanen, and shooting guard Zach LaVine, among others, were at the forefront of the Bulls’ rebuild as recently as last year.
It was ownership/management hiring former Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas to replace John Paxson as the lead voice in the front office that changed the face of this rebuild that was then heading into its fourth year.
