During the 2016 NBA draft, the Chicago Bulls traded Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks. Jerian Grant was part of that trade. Jerian Grant played two seasons for the Bulls and averaged 7.2 points, and 3.4 assists per game. He shot 41 percent from the field and 34 percent from the three point line. Grant mainly played the backup point guard position for the Bulls, but he did start a total of 54 games for the Bulls. It seems like Grant never got comfortable with the Bulls.
In the three team trade, the Bulls acquired guard Julyan Stone from Charlotte.
