An underdog in the upcoming FIBA World Cup which includes a recently acquired Chicago Bulls guard that will be fun to watch is the Czech Republic. And that recently acquired Bulls guard (from the Washington Wizards) is the 6-foot-7 Tomas Satoransky.
The FIBA World Cup begins in late August, with Satoransky looking to take his Czech Republic squad to new heights as a dark horse in the competition. But Satoransky will have his team facing an uphill battle against talented squads like Spain, Argentina, Canada, and especially the United States.
On Aug. 19, the Czech Republic faced Hungary in a VTG Supercup tournament ahead of the competition in the FIBA World Cup.
