The Chicago Bulls recently claimed 5’10” guard Tyler Ulis off of waivers per reports. While he’ll be on a two-way contract and is likely to spend most of his time in the G-League, the Bulls should look to incorporate Ulis as much as possible this season.
Both Cameron Payne and Ryan Arcidiacono are far from being long-term options at the back up point guard slot. Ulis may not be the ideal candidate either in some respects, but he’s definitely of value. The team should look to give him a chance to prove his worth as this is a low-risk high-reward type of situation and there are multiple factors that contribute.
