Chicago Bulls shooting guard Denzel Valentine puts up a double-double in loss

The score at the end of the first quarter between the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls: 13-7. That’s right, Chicago put up a whopping 13 points and led by six points. Truly incredible.

The Bulls didn’t shoot well from the field for the game (37 percent) but shot above 40 percent on 3-pointers for the game (14-33).

Today’s player of the game, Denzel Valentine, went 4-for-6 from behind the arc for the night. Valentine finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.

While Valentine didn’t shoot well overall from the floor either (5-of-12) he did enough to make me select him over Jerian Grant, who scored 24 (may be some bias there).
