The depth in the frontcourt for the Chicago Bulls just isn’t really there ahead of the 2019-20 regular season. The summer will be a pivotal time for John Paxson and Gar Forman to upgrade the depth in the rotation while also rounding out the starting five. Putting that frontcourt rotation together for GarPax could involve hauling in a free agent like former Boston Celtics standout Marcus Morris.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Bulls, among others, were strong suitors to get Morris in free agency this summer. The other four teams that Charania mentioned could be interested in pursuing Morris as a “strong second tier free agent” included the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Sacramento Kings.
