The Chicago Bulls play the Boston Celtics tonight, but their rookie won’t play. Back pain continues to bother Lauri Markkanen, as you might remember he missed three preseason games because of pain in his back. The pain has once again forced him not to play a game. Markkanen did participate in shootaround, but the pain flared up after. The team decided that it would be best to sit the rookie out.
“Something that was very similar to something that he had in the preseason,” Hoiberg said.
Lauri Markkanen is having an excellent rookie season as he leads the team with 14.
