If the Chicago Bulls were not thin enough on the wing looking all the way down to the two players they have signed to two-way contracts, matters just got much worse. The Bulls found out on Dec. 23 that the 6-foot-6 shooting guard/small forward Max Strus tore his ACL and would be out for the season. He injured himself in a game playing for the G-League affiliate Windy City Bulls.
Strus was a player that head coach Jim Boylen and the Bulls did keep at the end of the bench on the NBA 15-man roster at times.
