It’s not a surprise that the Toronto Raptors bested the Chicago Bulls tonight at the United Center. The Raptors are coming off a summer full of showing off the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and the Bulls are… not. It is a surprise, though, that the Bulls didn’t even show up in front of their electrified home crowd.
Unlike the first two games of the 2019-20 NBA season, the defense was acceptable and the offense fell behind. The Bulls failed to score more than 23 points in any quarter, and they got outscored 84-61 in the final three quarters.
