Chicago Bulls make two trades at the NBA trade deadline

Chicago Bulls made two small trades in advance of the trade deadline.

The first trade that the Bulls made was trading Jameer Nelson to the Detroit Pistons. In return the Bulls got center Willie Reed and the rights to swap second round picks in 2022. Jameer Nelson was acquired in the Nikola Mirotic trade that happened last week. Nelson didn’t play a game for the Bulls.

Willie Reed is 27 years old and has been in the NBA for three seasons. Reed will be waived, per Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago. Bobby Marks from ESPN reported that the Bulls created a $1.
