In Sunday evening’s contest, Lauri Markkanen and the Chicago Bulls operated under a similar directive as they did in their recent victory against the Orlando Magic: Lauri gets the ball, and Lauri shoots the ball.
Like it did in the previous game, this strategy worked, as Markkanen notched another 30-point performance (31 to be exact) on 11-for-18 shooting. The Fabulous Finn made it happen on all levels of the court, swooping for soft finishes at the rim, fading on defenders, and hitting 5-of-10 shots from distance.
Kris Dunn also continued his recent solid stretch, putting up 17 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds on 8-11 shooting.
