In the midst of the hotter trade rumors during the offseason for the Chicago Bulls surrounded point guard Kris Dunn. Last season, Dunn started to get cast aside in the point guard depth chart down the stretch. It seemed official that John Paxson and Gar Forman were to move away from the plan of Dunn being this team’s future at point guard when they drafted former North Carolina Tar Heels point guard Coby White seventh overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.
It also didn’t help that the Bulls re-signed combo guard/wing Shaquille Harrison and point guard Ryan Arcidiacono over the offseason.
