Jim Boylen is rightfully under a lot of fire. The Chicago Bulls are a train wreck and he’s the leader of the team. He’s the captain of a sinking ship. If he doesn’t change something quickly, he’ll get fired and another person will be tasked with trying to get the boat afloat.
There are a lot of things Boylen does wrong, but one stands out among the rest. His decisions when it comes to substitutions and lineup combinations are downright stupefying. Last night against the Portland Trail Blazers, Boylen showcased his inexplicable coaching style for the world to see.
