To say the absolute least, it was an interesting move by the Chicago Bulls to give a contract extension to an interim head coach like Jim Boylen. The Chicago Bulls need a head coach that can modernize this team and bring a scheme that fits the potent skill sets of some of the franchise’s top young talents.
This does not seem like a task that Jim Boylen is up for given his style of play for the Bulls this past regular season. Even though he does have a host of capable outside shooters to work with, Boylen elected to put the ball down low and work the paint more than anything.
