Chicago Bulls: Grading the Thaddeus Young deal

The Chicago Bulls had a nice start to free agency. Their first major move was agreeing to a deal with forward Thaddeus Young. Per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Bulls and Young have agreed on a 3-year, $41 million deal. This was a fantastic move for Chi-Town.

Chicago entered free agency needing frontcourt depth, and that’s exactly what they got. So long as Lauri Markkanen stays healthy, Thad probably won’t be starting any games for the Bulls, but that’s where the Bulls are as a franchise. They didn’t need (and also couldn’t get) any big names this summer, so they needed to bring in unselfish winners with quality experience.
