Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg starts summer league practice today in preparation for the team heading out to Las Vegas where they will play on Saturday against (his old team) the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the new leader deserves a lot of credit for taking the opportunity to coach up some of his younger players before training camp.
He attended Monday’s White Sox game at U.S. Cellular Field along with first-round draft pick Bobby Portis (who threw out the first pitch), and Hoiberg’s presence showed that he is all in on winning over the city’s fans.
