Chicago Bulls’ David Nwaba out 2-4 weeks with a “severe” ankle sprain

David Nwaba will be out for a while after he suffered an injury in Saturday’s loss against the Pelicans. Nwaba had to be helped off the court, and is currently in a walking boot. He has a severe ankle sprain that will keep him out for 2-4 weeks.

“He’s going to be probably two to four weeks,” Bulls HC Fred Hoiberg said. “He’s got a severe ankle sprain.”

David Nwaba has actually had a pretty solid season so far. He is averaging 6.9 PPG and 5.5 RPG in 21 minutes a game. He brings a lot of energy and is a very athletic player.
