The Chicago Bulls didn’t get anywhere close to landing the Anthony Davis sweepstakes from the New Orleans Pelicans this summer, as he wound up with the Los Angeles Lakers. But the Bulls have close ties with AD since he is a Chicago, IL, native. The Bulls could try and get AD to have more interest in a hometown reunion in either the 2020 or 2021 free agency cycle. But the relationship and team structure with him and LeBron James with the Lakers would really have to crash and burn this coming regular season.
