In the midst of all the struggles for the Chicago Bulls this season, there’s a few stats that stick out among the rest. Mainly, the offensive rating the Bulls are posting combined with poor shooting numbers produced the bad product we saw on the court through 21 games.
Part of the blame for the lack of offensive rhythm should fall on head coach Jim Boylen. And the rest of that should go to the poor shooting and floor spacing from the players that are supposed to be the Bulls best shooters. For example, third year power forward Lauri Markkanen is shooting less than 30 percent from beyond the arc and around 35 percent from the field.
