Entering the 2020 offseason, the Chicago Bulls need to have a plan in place to make the best use of their initial opportunities to rejuvenate the rebuild. If you take into consideration the time under the previous front office regime, then the Bulls are about to enter the fourth year of the rebuild. Former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson and general manager Gar Forman sparked the rebuild a few years back, but are now out of their positions of power in the Windy City.

The Bulls rebuild essentially started back during the 2017 offseason, when they shipped off star small forward Jimmy Butler for a return that included the likes of shooting guard Zach LaVine, power forward Lauri Markkanen, and point guard Kris Dunn.
