Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen is never short of things to say. In fact, after a 17-41 record and near-mutiny, that might be the second-best compliment he has received. The best is probably his three-year extension. That too, though, was met with mixed reactions.
Was it simply compensating him properly as an NBA head coach? Or was it just doubling-down on a bad decision? The answer probably lies somewhere in the middle, but the results at least open it up for debate: are the Bulls players living in the image of their commandant?
