The idea of the Chicago Bulls‘ front office trying to form a big three this offseason to make a contender out of this team heading into next season sounds very appealing. But actually making that happen would be an incredibly difficult feat for executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley.
While this cycle of free agency is going to be much more fruitful than the one last fall, a lot of the stars that looked to be on the open market will be no longer.
