Restricted free agency usually isn’t a market that most teams around the NBA, including the Chicago Bulls, hit to find answers to various depth problems each passing offseason. But it is an option for the Bulls as they have so many new moving pieces within the organization since their offseason arrived back in spring.
It all started for the Bulls by demoting former vice president of basketball operations John Paxson to a senior advisor role and replacing him with ex-Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas. Now taking over as the lead voice in the front office for Paxson, the official title for Karnisovas will be executive VP of basketball operations.
