In the franchise history of the Chicago Bulls, using second round picks to their benefit isn’t something that the front office is accustomed to. All of the best Bulls players in franchise history were pretty much lottery picks. Even the best within the last decade were first round picks, despite not all coming in the lottery.
When most Bulls fans think of their best draft picks in the last 20 years, the ones that tend to come to mind are star small forward Jimmy Butler, point guard Derrick Rose, center Joakim Noah, shooting guard Ben Gordon, and power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (if they had not traded him on draft night 2006).
