Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan were competitors in the NBA and that was highlighted during Episode 6 of “The Last Dance,” which covered the 1993 NBA Finals between the Bulls and the Phoenix Suns, but they still remain friends.
Barkley was the 1993 NBA MVP, but Jordan’s Bulls beat the Suns in six games to win the title. Barkley still has to live with that loss to this day, and not just because it was his only appearance in the NBA Finals.
Barkley talked about the pain of being friends with someone as competitive as Jordan on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt on Sunday night.
