It wasn’t that starter John O’Korn played poorly in Happy Valley — it was his best start of the season — but rather a product of the new expectations for this Michigan football season.

At 5-2 (2-2 Big Ten), the Wolverines’ division and conference title hopes are all but gone. The natural inclination is to look toward next year, and toward Peters — a former four-star prospect now in his redshirt freshman season.
