On Tuesday, JBL (an audio equipment company) and Zach LaVine announced they are donating thousands of headphones to local schools in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The donation is intended to support schools' e-learning initiatives and virtual classes as recommended social distancing guidelines sweep the country and world.
The initiative features donations from seven different JBL ambassadors to schools in six different cities — Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee, Wisconsin); Andre Drummond (Cleveland, Ohio); Bam Adebayo (Miami, Florida); Aaron Judge (New York City, New York); Julius Randle (New York City, New York); and Kenny Smith (Los Angeles, California).
