With the Chicago Bulls still trying to work out a deal with forward Nikola Mirotic and as cheap as the front office is with the salary cap, the recent news of Joffrey Lauvergne isn’t shocking.
According to Shams Charania of Yahoo’s The Vertical, the Bulls will not extend a qualifying offer to Lauvergne for next season after initial reports said that they would.
Charania reported the news on late Saturday night, which means that the Bulls have two centers on their roster moving forward in Robin Lopez and the newly-signed Cristiano Felicio, but the congestion at power forward is less congested.
