Figures, take the weekend off from the Bulls and they win two straight games, on a back-to-back no less. Tonight it was a 104-12 victory over the visiting New York Knicks.
Looks like...more solid performances from Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen, so that’s good! Dunn had 17 points on 6-11 shooting, 9 assists to 3 turnovers. Markkanen’s line is a little thin but he had more points than shot attempts, which means better than his slump.
The big performances came from the bench, with returning players Nikola Mirotic and David Nwaba with 19 and 15 apiece. Upon a cursory glance it seems like a big deal that Mirotic and Nwaba getting minutes: it simply means fewer minutes for the terrible players, and that can make the Bulls overall slightly less terrible.
